CPA (Thailand) and STIN Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony to assess and develop English Language Proficiency of first-year nursing students at STIN.

“On January 29, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanokwan Suwanpatikorn, President of Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross Institute of Nursing (STIN), and Dr. Supalak Komarakul Na Nagara, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Center for Professional Assessment (Thailand) signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to assess and develop
English Language proficiency of first-year nursing students at STIN using the international English standardized test, TOEIC Bridge and TOEIC to enhance students’ readiness for professional learning in accordance with the institute’s curriculum.

STIN, founded in 1914 by King Rama VI, Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross Institute of Nursing (STIN) was Thailand’s first nursing school. It expanded its curriculum over the decades, becoming Thai Red Cross College of Nursing in 1970 and affiliating with Chulalongkorn University in 1971. During the 1990s and 2000s, the institution introduced specialty nursing programs, expanded infrastructure, and established research centers and a nursing museum. In 2016, it was elevated to STIN, receiving royal recognition. Today, it continues to lead in nursing education, research, and international collaboration.”
